About ASP
ASP builds on its 30-year reputation for service, reliability and innovation to the construction industry.
Established as a precast and tilt concrete company 30 years ago, ASP has diversified into Australia’s in-ground experts.
Founder Pat Buckley was a pioneer in precast concrete products in south-east Queensland during the 1980s.
The company's notable early projects include the Australia Fair Shopping Centre and the Royal Children’s Hospital in addition to developing the concrete safety barricades used to help form the tight Surfers Paradise street circuit of the internationally recognised Gold Coast Indy Car Grand Prix.
In the early 1990s the directors recognised that they could bring their expertise to ground works and established the company as Australian Sheet Piling.
Since then ASP and its allied company Australian Dewatering Systems has sourced the best practice and technology from all over the world as well as creating its own patented technology to provide Australian developers and construction companies with the latest in ground works solutions.
The company introduced deep well dewatering in the early 1990s, spearpoint dewatering in the mid 1990s, patented watering filtration systems in the early 2000s and today offers a range of in-ground services - from CFA piles and ground anchors to soil mixing and secant walls - that go significantly beyond the company's original name; hence Australian Sheet Piling is now ASP.
Joining ASP in the mid 1990s as managing director is Patrick Buckley, a mechanical engineer whose experience and drive for technical excellence and innovation has made ASP one of the most respected names in the industry.
In addition to being the preferred service provider of key projects across Queensland, ASP will continue to be the industry innovators, creating additional products and services that will increase the safety, quality, speed and profitability of Australia’s construction projects.
